Talking About Mental Health with AI-Based Digital Personas: Understanding What Users Disclose

A retrospective analysis of 117,354 users examining mental health self-disclosure to AI digital personas. About 50% of users cited a negative emotional state or help-seeking as motivation, with depression (55%) and anxiety (45%) as the most common topics.
